Aadyant, comes from Sanskrit. When broken down we get ‘Adi’ meaning beginning, and ‘Ant’ meaning end. It signifies beginnings and endings as parts of an infinite cycle. It is one of eleven methods used with certain saptopāya (seven means) to rejuvenate ineffective mantras, described in the 11th-century Netratantroddyota, teaching that teamwork and perseverance are ongoing processes, not isolated events.
